I used Fugu for a while, but I could never get past the idiosyncratic interface. It doesn't even have a file menu, for instance. What self-respecting Mac app doesn't have a file menu?

With Fugu I always felt like I was guessing where the feature I needed was hiding, or what action I had to take to upload or download a file. With CyberDuck I rarely guess. I just do. It simply flows better.

Another great SFTP/SSH client for OS X is Fugu: http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/

It won an Apple Design award for Open Source projects, and supports key chain / drag and drop and all that wizz.

Transmit is actually the FTP client I was referring to. I paid for it. Then it promptly lost all my passwords and bookmarks when I upgraded to Tiger. The developers told me they had fixed the bug, but it would cost me almost 2/3 as much as I originally paid for the upgrade with the fix.

Panic Transmit

I'm very happy with the cheap payware Transmit from Panic. Unaffected by Tiger.
